Dr. Pratik Tripathi

Dr. Pratik Tripathi, a renowned nephrologist and renal transplant physician is also the Head of Nephrology Department at the multi speciality Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur. Dr. Tripathi pursued his DM (Nephrology) from Sawai Man Singh Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur after completing MD (Medicine) from LLRM Medical College & SVBP Hospital, Meerut and achieved it with great success.
During his tenure as a Resident in Medicine from 1998 - 2001 in the Department of Medicine at LLRM Medical College & SVBP Hospital, Meerut he acquired a wide spectrum experience in all the broad specialities and super specialities related to Medicine like Neurology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Chest Medicine, Emergency and Critical Care medicine, Tropical Medicine besides general medicine work.

While working as Senior Resident (Nephrology) at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow he found the privilege to work under Prof. R K Sharma, Prof Amit Gupta Head and other eminent faculty and thus gained expertise in diagnosis and management of varied renal disorders. He also collaborated in research activities, seminar presentations and clinical tutorials, besides teaching undergraduate and Post graduate MD (medicine) students.

In his current position, he is successfully running a hemodialysis programme (maintenance as well as critical care), CAPD & Automated PD programme, providing OPD & IPD services including critical back-up to the Cardio-thoracic Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, Orthopedics, General Surgery & Critical Care teams. He keeps himself updated with the latest medical developments by attending numerous medical conferences where he also presents his scientific papers.
Dr. Tripathi, a member of several reputed medical societies, is fond of travelling, reading and meeting diverse people.
